Pricing and FAQ’s

Here are some facts about therapy and the treatment process that you may find useful.

Intake Process

The first 1-2 sessions are focused on information gathering and assessment. I’ll ask you to provide more in depth information related to your life history, background, identity, and presenting difficulties in order to really get a good sense of who you are and what we’ll be treating.

Follow-up Sessions

Sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on client needs, scheduling restraints, or preferences. Initial sessions will focus on rapport building and getting to know each other, while ongoing sessions will incorporate a variety of interventions aimed at helping you make progress toward your goals.

Insurance and Fees

My cash pay rate is $200, for a 50 minute session.

I am able to offer a select number of sliding scale rates.

I can provide superbills for you to submit to insurance for partial or full reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan.

I am also credentialed and in network with:

Aetna, Optum, Oscar Health, and Oxford

Office Location

I do not currently have a physical office. I provide HIPAA-compliant teletherapy services to those who reside in the state of California.

Between-Session Support

I am not available for after hours support or crisis intervention. My working hours are generally from 9-5, Monday-Friday.

Cancellations

I require 48-hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellations. I will do my best to reschedule our session but this is not always guaranteed.

Telehealth/Online sessions

I provide HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions and typically utilize Doxy or Zoom for sessions.
